This year has got off to a flying start with the team supporting The Royal National Lifeboat Institute (any excuse to munch through some goodies – and wear trainers), raising £251.

Comic Relief’s 2007 Red Nose Day was celebrated in fashion by all the staff. As a break from the traditional pasties and cakes, we had a healthy breakfast instead. Office dress down helped to jolly everyone along during the day with the exception of the author (forgot it was dress down day and booked in clients). Highlight of the afternoon was our fabulous raffle with so many prizes it took an hour to run.

Thanks to everyone who organised events, took part or just parted with cash to raise an amazing £191.

More 2007 Fundraising News!

We are starting to move into our busy period for charity fundraising. After a quiet summer, fundraising is back with avengeance.
In September, the office took part in the MacMillan Cancer Support Greatest Coffee Morning. We can’t remember the last time there were so many cakes and goodies on sale – well we can actually, it was the last coffee morning but who’s keeping tally.
By the time we had munched our way through snacks and savouries and spent an hour drawing the all star raffle, we raised a magnificent £238.92.

Friday 26 October saw the entire island awash with pink as the island became the Isle of Man Woman for the day in support of Breast Cancer charities. Just about everyone on the island wore something pink.
Our stalwart messenger donned a pink wig to act as tea lady for the day – thanks John, you’re a star and altogether we raised £147.

Pudsey’s Big Day

Another busy day raising money for Pudsey and the BBC Children in Need Appeal. We spend so much time drawing the raffle that we should have a new time code.

Thanks to everyone who took part and the office raised £238.
